I did my homework and went both routes to fix my broken nose, insurance with an ENT and plastics with Dr. Tholen out-of-pocket. I was a difficult case having rosacea and early stage rhinophyma along with my deviated septum from the broken nose. To make a long story short, the ENT doctor was not confident he could fix my breathing and shape my nose correctly to look normal again. Insurance would not pay for the shaping of the nose to look normal again, but the price as comparable to Dr. Tholens whom would be able to fix the breathing and shape the nose. Then the kickers, while in the ENT office the nurses were absent minded and rude, and the doc I am trusting to fix my nose made me wait excessively, making me late to two meetings for work. In my experience, bad doctors hire bad nurses. I was fed-up, I went with Dr. Thelon instead, ditching my insurance, he did an amazing job, the nurses and staff were WONDERFUL. I would go back to Dr. Thelon in the future, and I would recommend to any of my family.
