Minimal Breast Reduction - Minneapolis, MN

ORIGINAL POST

I underwent a minimally breast reduction surgery...

WORTH IT
I underwent a minimally breast reduction surgery and a breast lift 6 weeks ago. My before size was 38 H. Now I am a 36 D and I cannot believe how great I feel. My breasts were so heavy that I suffered from neck, shoulder, and upper back discomfort on a daily basis. After the surgery I immediately felt lighter and the tension I used to feel was pretty much GONE immediately. I am so impressed and happy with my new breasts that I had wished I had done it years ago! Dr. Joe and his team were AMAZING with making me feel comfortable talking about my concerns and answering all of my questions. I highly recommend Dr. Joe!

Congratulations on your surgery! I am scheduled for october 10. Can you tell me what is a minimal breast reduction? So great that got the results you wanted!
The surgeon just reduced the size a little so I would get a good lift. I did not go through my insurance company because I have heard they dictate how much needs to be removed. I have probably a 1/4 to 1/2 pound of tissue removed and with just that little bit has made a world of difference on my neck, shoulders, and back! Good Luck
Thanks! You look terrific, congratulations on getting it done and the good results!
Hi Alias,
She answered your question perfectly, and I also addressed this in my response. Good luck!!!
Dear Happier, It is so cool you posted your photos. Even more amazing is that your pain was pretty much gone immediately!!! And this was done with a "minimal" breast reduction, which means it is just cosmetic, and would not qualify for insurance because a much smaller amount is removed. You got quite a lift our of it too. The lower shape of your breast will also "round-out" over about the next 4 1/2 months as you "drop & fluff." Call me or come on in any time if you have any questions, as the door is always open. All the best, Dr. Joe
That's awesome that made such a difference in your pain! I can't wait til I get mine done, they'll be removing at least 2 lbs per breast (930 g per side for insurance but I have more than that to give!), it's going to be such a relief!
