I have long considered the option or idea of...
I have long considered the option or idea of cosmetic surgery. Over the last several years I would look into it with various degrees of intensity. Web searches, medical literature and talks with peers as I am also a physician. However, I was always able to find a reason to not go forward. It was too expensive. It was frivolous. It was vanity run rampant.
But, it was also true that no matter how hard I worked out, what diet I tried or how much weight I had lost my body retained characteristics that were simply a source of embarrassment for me. As a consequence I found myself refusing to participate in a variety of activities I had once enjoyed. And this made me unhappy in my personal life and deeply affected my sense of self-esteem.
In brief, my life was being impacted negatively and I decided that I would go forward with surgery. Thus began a more serious search that led me to Dr. Hoffman.
Frankly, his skills are astounding and the difference between my image in the mirror and now is incredible. The fact that the surgery was less than three months ago and the results continue to improve is scarcely believable.
I would recommend Dr. Hoffman to anyone considering cosmetic surgery. And I would do so not just for his technical skills which were attested to by every professional I came into contact pre- and post-operatively. These people included anesthesiologists and nurse anesthetists and all who knew and worked with him. I would do so because he and his staff are simply wonderful, friendly and compassionate people.
As I mentioned before I am a physician and it is often a cliche to describe surgeons as having less than stellar bedside manners. Unfortunately, I've had opportunities to see where this is not always a cliche. Dr. Hoffman possesses great skill and his way of relating to patients is absolutely wonderful. He is warm and funny and considerate. He and his staff have made me feel comfortable throughout this entire process.
So, if you are considering this as an option I would recommend Dr. Hoffman without hesitation. My sense of well-being has improved beyond what I could have imagined. And, I could not be happier with his work.
