Dr. Tholen is an amazing surgeon and truly cares about his patients. If I had to go through this entire procedure a second time, I would absolutely choose him to do it. He really goes the extra mile when it comes to patient care. He is able to relate to his patients and give them the care that they need in a professional, yet comforting way. He is very easy to get in contact with and responds within a day or two (if it is via e-mail). I would recommend him to anyone looking to get plastic surgery.

10 Months Post-Op

I am now 10 months post-op and have been using NewGel+ gel to treat the scars. The scars have softened a lot and the build-up on the sides is going down slowly.

I am now almost 7 months post-op. I have been using NewGel+ for scar treatment (not as regularly as I should, though).

Hey there, just checking in to see how you are progressing, from what I can see your results look great. Have you seen any improvement in your scars by using the NewGel?
Hi. I have seen a lot of improvement on my scars on the front of my chest and minimal improvement on the scar build-up on the sides. I'm hoping for more improvements!
I am glad you are seeing some improvement- you know what, I use this amazing stuff called Tepezcohuite - it is very effective as a regenerator of damaged tissue/scars. I use it for acne scarring. It is known to activate the tissue recovery. Another option may be scar revision - I am no expert but found this review and the results were outstanding:
