I couldn't be happier with my new chest! Going into the surgery, I was certain the procedure was what I needed in order to feel at ease in my body, but Dr. Tholen and his team went above and beyond my expectations. They were willing to work with me regarding other health matters I faced to ensure I had successful results. The staff were all very nice and answered any questions I had directly. I would highly recommend Dr. Tholen for transgender surgeries. Dr. Tholen and his staff were also willing to use my preferred pronouns, zhe, zhir, and zhirs, which helped me feel more accepted. Overall welcoming environment and excellent care.

Thanks for taking the time to write a thoughtful review that also recognized my staff's efforts to give outstanding care. I hope you don't feel your follow-up car is "finished," as I stand ready to see you any time there are questions or concerns, not just for "final" photographs as scars fade. I also try to make recheck visit scheduling a bit less onerous for my out of town patients, but want to always make sure you understand that you can contact, Sarah, my nursing staff, and me if you have any issues as your healing progresses.
