I had a chin implant 30 years ago. It had shifted to one side and did not look good. Under local, Dr. Gervais removed the implant along with a growth inside of my chin that was caused by the...surprise... ruptered implant. Yes, the implant had liquid silicone inside of it. Although Dr Gervais did not comment, I am sure this was a challenging surgery. The results are excellent. My chin looks normal, the scar is minimal, and I have no numbness. I am very pleased that I picked Dr Gervais to do this surgery!

Dr Gervais is confident, caring, and intelligent. Another plastic surgeon I consulted with suggested immeditaly putting a new implant in. But Dr Gervais said I should wait 3 to 6 months and evaluate how I look without the implant, and also let the pocket heal so that if I do decide to go with a new chin implant, it will not move around. I think that was excellent advice. His staff is great as well. I feel very comfortable with Dr. Gervais and his team. Another thing I like is that for general anesthesia they use IV sedatives instead of gas, so you will wake up feeling good. I do not frequently give endorsements, but in this case I must!
