As a 35 year old, after breast feeding two children, I was fortunate to be referred to Dr. Tholen at Minneapolis Plastic Surgery by my best friend who had just undergone implant surgery with him.
The morning of the procedure was very smooth, everyone was pleasant and professional and the surgery went well. My issue is that I am from Canada and would need some creative follow up. This was no problem for Dr. Tholen and his staff, and I felt extremely well supported through various mediums including text, email, phone calls, and FaceTime. I never felt out of touch with the clinic, and no question (no matter how insignificant), was ever left unanswered.
Dr. Tholen and his staff even went above and beyond when, while on a family holiday in Disneyland two weeks post op, I required a prescription. They managed to call it into an Anaheim pharmacy beside the resort and I was able to continue with my recovery.
As for the results of the surgery, I couldn't be happier! The girls are back up to where they should be and are nice and full. I have a bit of bruising left on one side, but it is going down, and still, Dr. Tholen accepts and responds to my emails about it.
I would happily recommend Dr. Tholen and Minneapolis Plastic Surgery to anyone considering this surgery, and especially to those who do not live in the area and are concerned with follow up contact.
