Very Happy with my Results - Minneapolis, MN

I did much research before deciding to have breast implants. I searched for an accredited board certified plastic surgeon with many years of experience. I came across Dr. Tholen at the Minneapolis Plastic Surgery. Their website was very thorough and informative. I set up a free consultation but still had some skeptisim on the procedure. My consultation was a positive one. Dr. Tholen and his staff explained the procedure and process very well. They answered all my questions and made me feel very comfortable. After several months of contemplation I decided to get silicone breast implants.

I had size D breasts prior to breastfeeding my two children. After breastfeeding my breasts not only lost volume but the consistency was far different than prior to children and I went down to a size B. I would breastfeed my children all over again even though I was very disappointed on how they looked and felt afterwards. I wanted to feel sexy again in my clothes and a bathing suit. I wanted the size and fullness that I had prior to children. So that was my intent, to get to the size I was prior to children.

I researched a couple other plastic surgeons but felt most comfortable with Dr. Tholen and his office. I liked Dr. Tholen's years of experience, the pictures on his website of good results, the very informative website and information I received at my consultation. I also wanted a private facility where I could get the surgery done right there in their office. I'm very happy with my decision to go with Dr. Tholen and in my decision to get silicone implants. I told him what I wanted in size and showed him what I was prior to children. I trusted Dr. Tholen to use his experience and judgement during surgery to make the final decision. I had gone in thinking I would go with 450cc and I walked away with 510cc. My breasts look amazing. I didn't tell anyone I was doing this surgery and I don't think anyone will ever question them as they look so good and natural. My self confidence has improved greatly. I feel sexy and I'm very happy.

My only downfall from the surgery is that I still have quite a bit of numbness. One breast has more than the other. I'm 6 months post-op and I'm told that the numbness may continue to go away or it may not and I may have it forever. My hope is that the numbness goes away but if it doesn't I'm still glad I had the surgery.
