I picked Dr. Tholen after seeing his work and also being referred by a couple friends. I did two other consults and he was the most honest and very knowledgeable and I felt comfortable with him and his staff right away. I was also very concerned that I would have anxiety after the BA procedure because the thought of having a foreign body in my chest made me really nervous and Dr. Tholen and his staff did a wonderful job of listening to my concerns and explaining everything to me. The day of the procedure I was very nervous but everything went smoothly and when I woke up I really felt fine right away. My chest felt tight like when your milk comes in when you are nursing but I literally had no pain, I couldn't believe it. I only used the pain medication for one day and I didn't really even need it. I did great with just the anti-inflammatory and muscle relaxer for a few days. I did sub pec 390cc implants. I am now a 36C from a 34AA! I only had one small spot of bruising on the scar under my R breast and that's all. I am a month out now and I didn't have any anxiety at all! I am healing great and love my new look! I would completely without reservation recommend Dr. Tholen and his wonderful staff to anyone needing a plastic surgeon!
