$12,899
Just looking for ideas so far. My consultation will be on 1/5/16. I have a big round nose. I wish to make it more narrow/pointy with a bridge. I am also a 36b looking to add more fullness since I did lose some weight. My breast doesn't even fill my 36b bras anymore. I am 5'1 and weighs 150 lbs. I'm excited for my journey!!!

if you want more than one consultation I recommend Dr Michael Fasching in Plymouth. I really think he's good based on lipo, BA, and facelift he did for me. If you google him he has a web site. Good luck!

Consultations completed!!!!
I went to two different consultations yesterday. I went to go see two very reputable surgeons. The two appointments were very different. I thought that I was leaning more towards the 2nd surgeon due to the expertise that he was known for. During the appt, the whole consultation was very uncomfortable. The nurses were not able to answer my general questions and kept saying that I should ask the surgeon once he comes in. When the surgeon came in, he said that I was going to need to do a lift on one side. Since I have no kids yet and would like to try in the future, the lift would not be an option. He was telling me that I would need a dual plane instead. I went into my consultation thinking that I would not need anything special besides the augmentation because I was small to start out with. The 1st dr noticed that my right side dropped about 1 1/2 inch lower but was going to increase the size of the right side about 25cc more than the left side. All in all, I am glad that I had the consultations with both Drs and I am happy about the Dr that will be performing my surgery.

Day of Surgery
My surgery started at 9am on 1/15/16. I was a little nervous but all went well. Dr Gervais made his marks and the anesthesiologist Norm came in the ask questions and began with the IV. Norm was funny and that really helped with my bit of anxiety. After that was complete, my husband was asked to leave the room. I went into the operation room and layer down. Norm said that he was going to put the meds thru the IV and in what seemed like less than a minute, I was passed out. I woke up to being in a different room and my nurse and husband was there. I was very loopy and kept asking repeated questions. After that, we left and went home. The drive was short because the office was only 8 miles from home. I came home with no pain whatsoever and went back to sleep. My husband took care of the timing for the meds throughout the whole week. That really helped because I was not stable. I was originally a 36B and I have uneven breasts. My right is lower than my left . So I went with 575cc to the right and 616cc to the left. I chose The moderate plus profile with the inflammatory incision. Dr. Gervais has worked on the Asian rhinoplasty before and knew exactly what I was looking for. I understood that due to my bulbous nose, there was only so much that can be done to get a pointer and more defined nose. So he did what he could. And that was great to hear because the DR from the Other consultation that I had before said that he did not know how to perform an Asian rhinoplasty and his buddy will have to do it. Which will mean more cost since two separate surgeons and billed from another clinic. I chose Dr Gervais because he was able to perform both surgeries and the cost was lower and he has done the operations with patients of Asian descent.
Thank you for starting your story on RealSelf! Here's a list of questions to ask at your consultation. Definitely also make sure to ask if your potential surgeon is experienced working with Asian noses. Please let us know how it goes next week!
