33-year-old Mom of 3 --> Mommy Makeover - Minneapolis, MN

I contemplated a mommy makeover for about a year, before deciding to research and consult with surgeons. I met with four other surgeons in the area before selecting Minneapolis Plastic Surgery. I looked at the overall manner and environment of the office and support staff, the bedside manner of the surgeon, and the procedure and recovery process. Throughout the whole process (consultation, surgery, post-op appointments, and massage therapy), Dr. Gervais' staff was, kind, friendly, and answered any questions I had.

I did have some miscommunication around my medications. Apparently my pharmacy did not receive one of the prescription forms, and I did not realize it until the morning after surgery. Perhaps the recovery nurse should go through the medication dosages with the person caring for the patient (either pre or post op)? As this wasn't caught until the next day, it was a mess trying to contact the pharmacy and Dr. Gervais, to get it all straightened out.

The tummy tuck and breast augmentation went great and I am recovering (now 3.5 months post-op) without any complications. My results look wonderful, and I am so happy I decided to have this done, and to work with Minneapolis Plastic Surgery. I'm looking forward to a lifetime of these great results!
