Be very careful before getting a Mini as well. In hindsight I should have done the entire TT or waited and done nothing.
Also when I told the doctor and staff I wasn’t happy with my results - the doctor told me to go to the gym or he could fix it for full price - another $8000
He had assured me he would do the MR anywhere it was needed including above the naval but then he told me when he went in there I didn’t need much MR. The top of my tummy bulges out now. When I am ready for a breast lift in a few years I’ll consider fixing my tummy with a new surgeon. What a waste of time and money.

7 months post op and I am very sorry to have to leave this negative review for Dr. Pozner and his office. I met with 3 surgeons before choosing Dr. Pozner. I picked him for my surgery because he seemed to really understand the results I wanted - a flat stomach. The other surgeons I met with said I needed just liposuction or a full tummy tuck. Dr. Pozner was right in the middle. He suggested a little liposuction to the flanks, a mini tummy tuck, hernia repair and muscle repair as needed throughout my entire stomach. This was also a drainless mini tummy tuck. After my surgery I had to go back every 2 days to be manually drained because I had a lot of fluid accumulation with no where to drain. This was a major inconvenience- but luckily I only live 10 minutes away. After I initially healed about 6 weeks post op I expressed my concern that my upper abdomen was bulging out and I lost my curves. I looked better in my before photos. While his staff member agreed with me and told me to tell Dr. Pozner - doctor Pozner seemed not to care much and said that’s what I get for a mini tummy tuck. He told me he could do more liposuction but he would charge full price for it. Then he suggested if I wasn’t happy to go to the gym. FYI - I do go to the gym. My muscles weren’t repaired. He said once he opened my up I didn’t really need much muscle repair - I find that hard to believe because I can still feel in the center of my abdomen a gap where muscle should be. 7 months post op - My belly button still looks deformed, I have dog ears, and my stomach looks about the same as before. I also have plenty of fat left in my flanks. I started 5’7” 135lbs and I am syllabic 5’7” 135 lbs - no change there. I called the office to speak to someone before I posted anything - 2 months post op and no one ever called me back. They never had me in again for a follow up or for the free included scar laser I was supposed to get. Frankly I wouldn’t want to go back after the rude, uncaring treatment I received and bad results. I cannot recommend Dr. Pozner. Eventually I’ll save up and see a proper surgeon who can fix is work.
