Modified TT & muscle repair for hanging skin over my belly button

Modified TT & Muscle Repair
WORTH IT$5,000
I decided after losing 35 lbs that’s I was ready to go ahead with another change to my body! I really hated my belly button and the small w at the bottom of my belly. My biggest concern was my belly button though. I had skin hanging over my belly button and was very self conscious even below my goal weight! I didn’t mind my stretch marks at all. My doctor suggested a “modified tummy tuck” basically in between a mini and full because I didn’t have enough skin from the top of my belly button to the bottom of my sternum. He said my scar would be high if I did a full. I didn’t need Lipo or muscle repair according to him, but I did need a hernia repair. Once he opened me up he found that I had diastasis recti and it was about 3-4 fingers wide. Thankfully, he did full muscle repair all the way up! So glad he made that decision! At first the recovery from the muscle repair scared me because the pain initially was intense! But I’m now a week post-op and honestly feeling 50% normal. I can stand up straight (since about day 3), walk normally, and get up and sit back down with no help (as of day 5). Definitely still sore but I’m getting used to not using those muscles more and more until they are healed. I am swelling and bruised but it’s not too bad. Can’t wait to see the full results in a few months!! Im a little worried my belly button is too low but I can deal with it. My surgeon and I talked about the realistic goals that I should have with my surgery. With a mini tt I feel most people never get a perfect look. Which is not what I was going for anyways. I still have some loose skin where my belly ring was but he also said we can do an in office procedure in a few months for him to cut that and sew it up if it bothers me! We’ll see. I loved my body before but really just wanted to love it even more and I’m happy to not be “perfect” (I don’t like the overly tight full tt look that sometimes happens), I’ve had 3 kids so I’m not going to erase that! I’m 5’1, 120lbs, 28 years old. Pics are before, 1 day post and 6 days post.
