It’s been a little over a month, and I’m loving my results. I fit in clothes so differently and I feel my confidence coming back day by day! I’ve always had a flat butt but the way she did the lipo of my lower back makes me look like I actually have curves now...yayyyy!!!!! Still waiting for the hole from the drain to heal, slowly but surely.

I am curious if you had your children natural or via c section? I am trying to decide if mini tummy tuck is for me....I've had lipo but I'm not satisfied and I hate how my skin looks now below the belly button. How bad is the pain? Lipo was breeze and so was my 2nd c section.

I had both my kids through C section. To be honest, the mini tummy tuck was a breeze for me. I didn’t have any muscle repair, she just cut off excess skin. The hardest part for myself has actually been the lipo. I’m 5 weeks post op and still very sore from the lipo. When I went for my consult my surgeon suggested doing the mini tuck along with lipo bc she didn’t think I would be happy w just lipo because I would still have extra skin underneath the belly button. I highly recommend it!! When I sit or bend over there are no rolls or loose skin at all. Hope that helps!

I should have done the mini tummy tuck. I really didn't have loose skin before lipo, I just had this tiny spot that no matter what I did, I couldn't get rid of it. Now after lipo, when I bend over you can tell my skin is very loose and wrinkly from strechmarks....hmmm I may have to have a revision. Thanks for your input

I am very happy with my decision to have had this done. I am using biocorneum advanced scar treatment on the scar right now. I will post more pics as time goes on :)

2 weeks and 5 Days post surgery and I am still very sore. My abdomen feels like a rubber band stretching every time I get up or move in a different direction. By the end of the days I am having a lot of swelling above and beside my belly button. The hole where the tube was is slowly healing but it sure is not pleasant looking at all. I’ve also been sick w a cold which has really made this recovery rough. I am starting to become frustrated with the recovery process but I know this is just part of the journey. I CANNOT wait to be my normal self again and feel good!!
