Feeling a lot better a lot easier with movement not perfect but better, still swollen heaps and have fluid build up

Going through the mini tummy tuck and liposuction under a local was bearable but just, the liposuction under local was tuff and uncomfortable for me and I had to keep getting more anaesthetic injections in the tummy to make bearable this took the longest. Once dr was satisfied with the result he then did mini tummy tuck that was easy I even managed to pull my head up and have a look at what was going on crazy hey... I have no drain which is good I’m doing lymphatic massage several times throughout the day, dr didn’t advise me to do so but I felt it may help with recovery along with lots of water to hopefully help with the swelling and fluid build up.
ON DAY 1....lots of pain meds and struggling with getting up or down, i slept sleeping with pillows raised quiet high as was too difficult to lay all the way down and felt it was best. I stay in bed most of the day only getting up to get food or go to bathroom
ON DAY 2.... slightly better and managing to get out of bed a bit easier still took it easy though and stayed in bed most of the day and still taking pain meds oh and antibiotics I forgot to mention to prevent infection of course.
ON DAY 3....I decided not to take any pain relief and try and see how I go as I had to go to work the following day and it was a lot better day for me so I was starting to think that I would manage at work after all. I drove myself to the drs for my check up that afternoon and all was good and it was great to get out of house and out of bed and get some fresh air.
ON DAY 4 .... OMG I have to go to work ???? it was quiet scary the thought of it and was very worried but I did manage without any pain meds again, I took several breaks throughout the day as my job allows me to do so, well sneaky breaks anyway I was glad to get home and have a real rest.
ON DAY 5... much the same as day 4 but pain has slightly eased off a bit more. I had to go back to drs that afternoon after work for change of dressing this time water proof so I can finally have a shower yay ????. That night though the dressing became very irritating and unfortunately some of it was stuck to my pubic area and was pulling all time so I had to peel the dressing off that area or I wasn’t going to sleep so word of warning shave that area I hadn’t as I don’t have a man in my life and it’s not summer here anymore so I didn’t worry about doing it, the next morning I took a beautiful shower washed the hair and all unfortunately my stitches got wet but I blow dried them and went for a drive to get new dressing and all good again. It’s a Saturday today so for me that means I get the next 4 days off as I only work 3 days a week at moment so time for plenty rest yay.
ON DAY 6
It’s early morning and I’m righting this update i feel slightly better again today, I slept slightly in my side with pillow support all around and had reasonable good sleep. I woke and noticed swelling had gone down quiet a bit.
I plan on taking it easy and getting my head into some books
Some suggestions to help make it easier for you
Do meal preps the week before and freeze them I also made myself a beautiful veggie juice and froze that as well the week before so I knew I would be eating well I also got some frozen meals for lunches
I have been taking my usual vitamins but also added now Manuka honey to help with healing and spirulina and chlorella to help with bowel movements from pain meds and detox from anaesthetic.
So I’m very happy with result so far from what I can see, it’s still very swollen some bruising and still numbness on the outside wish it was on the inside too but in saying that the pain has been quiet bearable. I’m still struggling to get up out of a seat or even to sit down, I told my kids that I had done my back in, a good excuse so they understand why I’m sitting or walking strangely. Over all I have been up every day doing easy task such as making breakfast and washing, I went back to work on day 4 prob a bit soon but they wouldn’t allow for me to have time off.

I saw a surgeon that wants to do a mini tummy tuck and lip of the abdomen under local anesthesia. But im freaking out about it. How long was your surgery?
You should be fine I didn't feel him doing it all and watched him stitch me up. Lipo though was just bearable whilst I couldn't really feel the pain it wasn't very nice to go through.

Wow!! Thank you for the daily updates! I getting a mini TT with liposuction and fat transfer to breasts in 2 months. My doc says I will need a drain. But I guess that's for the good! Can you post a few updated pics ?? Your scar is GORGEOUS

Finally all ready to go was very nervous but was looking forward to finally getting it done. bit late with pics I know will post after photos later on today but atm I have a follow up appointment I have to get to
