Tummy Tuck

I had several procedures completed. Mini TT, Lipo of hips (Dr. Rodgers includes hip lipo with all her TTs), lower eye bleph, and laser skin resurfacing. The price I stated is for the miniTT to the best of my ability to separate it from the other costs. I have waited some time to write this review. I allowed plenty of time to heal and I have followed up with additional Doctors. Additionally, I really like the esthetician at this office, but I know I will not be able to return once I post this review. I was expecting a mini tummy tuck and floating my belly button. This was important to me- I wanted and expected a mini TT, and no scar around my BB. I have reviewed my paperwork and emails and have not found any mention that I may wake up to a full TT with a very large scar that extends from my side, across my pelvic bone on each side and an incision encircling my belly button. There was also an incision just below my sternum that has scarred horribly. I have since had this scar revised at another practice. The scar around my BB and on my abdomen is awful. My belly button looks odd and unnatural. I have seen doctors about revising the scar- they have confirmed that the results are sub-par. I am unsure if I will try to get it revised. I keep my stomach hidden anyways and there is nothing that can be done for my belly button. I should have known not to follow through- the communication with the team was poor leading up to the procedures, and when I expressed doubts, I had already paid and was told in no uncertain terms that I could not postpone w/o penalty and would not receive any refund. I was also body shamed and pressured to include lipo of my thighs. Fortunately, I held out. I only saw the Doctor once before my procedures. Questions were answered by staff and even when I came in extra before the procedure, I did not see the Doctor- only her nurse or PA. If I had it do over, I would not choose Dr. Rodgers. I do not recommend her for tummy tucks of any kind and I caution you to be very clear about what procedure you are, or may get. Also, do not let anyone Doctor or practice body shame you into additional procedures.
