Not a Fine Surgeon, Avoid

I have had multiple cosmetic procedures by surgeons in NYC with excelent results; My skin is resilient and heals very quickly, with most marks disappearing within a year. However my experience with Dr Leftekis is a sad exception. Each time I saw he was hurrying to move on to the next patient; the booking is very tight and he goes very fast over questions and explanations. What is truly problematic is that he also hurries at the time of the procedure. I was dumbfounded by the speed at which he drew the markings on my body for a mini nip-tuck.I didnt have time to react; son I was anesthetized and out. Post-surgery I confirmed the sloppiness of the markings and the cut as well. The scar is in fact asymmetric, and still very thick and red, a year after surgery. The liposuction was also uneven and I had to go for a second intervention to correct it. He admitted this error, but gaslighted me about the asymmetry of the line and the "inevitable" thickness of the wound (right now, 12 months into it, some areas of the wound are 6mm wide, and 3cm long, red), it looks braided instead of neatly stitched.
The equipment in his offices and operating room is very aged and frankly lacks hygiene. When I was there for the second intervention (corrective, local anesthesia only) I saw spots on the wall of the Operating Room that seemed dry blood.
The friend who referred me to him also needed a second corrective intervention.
Additionally, some of the staff at the office are very antagonistic, creating an unpleasant climate.
I should have researched him more; I would not go under his knife not even "gratis". Beware. This is not a fine surgeon.
