Beautiful! You look fantastic!
Thank you :)
Very natural, great results!
Thanks:)
you look amazing!
Thanks - I feel so much better with more confidence :)
You look great!! I appreciate the detail in your comments. I'm consulting with Dr. Standefer in a couple of weeks. Can I ask you about your scars behind your ears? Are they/were they obvious when you put your hair up? I will ask when I go, of course, but wanted your firsthand experience. Thank you in advance.
Just saw your post - I wear my hair up e wry day. Scars are pretty much invisible. Have you done your lift yet ?
I am going to be having a mini face lift. What should expect as far as recovery? Pain/numbness/tightness?
Sorry just saw your post. Pain - numbness and tightness - nothing terribly bad - I did do a day by day review after surgery on an earlier post .

One year and three months later

Still very happy with my outcome. I would refer anyone to Dr Standefer with the utmost confidence. Best decision I have made in a long time. Of course I haven’t had my Botox in over 6 months cuz of Covid but I’m not going out much so doesn’t really matter :)

How was the surgery itself? I am considering Dr. S for a facelift but am concerned about this "cocktail" of oral meds that we take prior to the surgery. I also don't really want to be aware of what is happening during surgery, nor do I want pain. But, I do want a quick easy recovery with good results!
The surgery went fine - I was also very concerned about the cocktail. I barely even take children's Tylenol so I've never had any kind of pain medication. I was barely nauseous afterwards and was given something for nausea. I did have to take Tylenol for a few days afterwards for pain some of the stitches on the back of the head were hard to sleep on but if you position your pillow right everything will work out good. I was back to work 10 days later and nobody even noticed they just said I looked well rested. I didn't tell anyone at work until afterwards. I think the Arnica that they have you take before and after the surgery reduces the bruising and swelling. I would do this again in a heartbeat.
Yay, that's such good news! Thanks for the response. I rarely take medications either- not even an Advil. So, the thought of taking a cocktail of medications to knock me out for the surgery sounded a little frightening. But, you definitely put my mind at ease.
Thanks for posting all of the pics and for keeping up with this thread! It is certainly a huge help for all of us first timers!
Fantastic results. Good to see your results are holding up well! Would love to see a full screen of your results today.
I tried to follow up with a full face screen. They have changed the photo deal on this app so it's hard to get a good photo.
You look incredible!!!
Thanks:) I feel good !
Happy for you!! You look vibrant and young, you definitely don't look your age. Thanks for your posts, very helpful! And you do not look like you need Botox! Congrats!

Almost 2 and 1/2 months and still good

All the swelling is pretty much gone. I didn’t have much to start with. Nerve endings are still a little tingly but that’s to be expected. I still look in the mirror every day and I am amazed at the work of Dr. Standefer. My son who I haven’t seen in 6 months saw me last week and said wow you look so good. You must be doing something right. I didn’t tell him I had mini-lift done lol. I do tell everyone else though. My chiropractor calls me dollface and I laugh. She says she loves just looking at how good things came out and how minimal my scars are. If you are on the fence - just get it done. Consults at free and once oh meet dr Standefer you will know you re in the right place. Pat Kiernan also did my dysport and that is holding up real well - I highly recommend her as she is an expert in her field and she’s just so darn nice :)

Was this performed in a hospital? Omg, the price was amazing!!!!!
Ransrvr- this was done at his surgery center using a local. I don't remember a thing- which is good. He offers monthly specials and I got in on a month where it was 20% off. So it was a bargain.
Omg. He sounds like a gem in all areas!!! You scored big with this ps! So, the meds were not given to you with an IV??
No IV - just a cocktail of some pills - fell asleep- didn't feel a thing. They woke me up apx 90 minutes later when complete and hubby took me home.
Did the meds make you nauseous?
I felt a bit nauseous when I got home - but he gave me some zofran for nausea - I took one and was fine after that. You can read my detailed review that I posted before this on to know what to expect when you get home and how to prepare beforehand as far as shopping.
I'm going to re-read your entire review. Xoxo
BTW... 59 years old.... NOOOO WAY!!!
Aw your making me blush :))
Awww, it's a euphoric feeling!!! Glamorous lady!!
I just had Dysport for the first time ( I usually use Botox) and Dysport is amazing!!!!
I have used Botox for over 10 years - first time with dysport (as it was on special that month) and I'm totally satisfied.
Same thing with me..Dysport was on special promotion. It worked quicker than Botox! I'm very happy
You look so beautiful Dallasgal. I have met with 2 ps here in Houston- both are verified by Real Self and was going schedule lower chin and neck but after much research I found out that the ps I was going to schedule the procedure has a malpractice lawsuit for breast sugery he did and he was verified here at Real Self. I got scared so I did not schedule any procedure with him and I am back on researching ps. I want to get it done before new year or a little after. I might just go to Dallas to see your ps. You look amazing and the price was a steal. Did you have a drain? How did you feel after? Sorry- I am all new to this but I am really researching for ps. Thank you for your post- learning a lot from people like you that post pics and shared their experiences!
Read my 2nd post and it gives you a day by day of happenings. I had a small drain for one night that I didn't even realize I had. Don't give up - there is a reason you can here like all of us - looking for he best ps to take care of our needs - I'm just blessed to be in Dallas where dr standefer is. If you do come to Dallas and need help with getting a good hotel etc let me know.
Aww thank you for your kindness. Read your post. Amazing! Thank you for sharing your journey- helps alot. I am trying to be brave like you esp with your results. You look beautiful! Wow! I vacillate at times esp with the horrible stories and then after I did my thorough researched- the PS had my mind set turn out had a malpractice file-April 2019. It was all over the internet but Real self gave him an excellent rating and verified. So back to reserached and consult. Your ps did excellent job. Thank you for being beautiful inside and out.
Glad you re doing your research. This app is wonderful. I knew I wanted to do something because I got to where I just didn't want anyone to look at me because I just felt like I looked old - my outside didn't match my inside. When I walked in and met dr standefer - I just knew it would be him. I think God just gives us those built in instincts and if something is right you just know it. I would do this over again 100% and with this ps 100%. And believe me I am not brave - I overthink everything- but I had a peace about this and was not nervous at all the day of surgery. I was at peace. I wish you well on your journey - keep us posted. I will be posting more pics soon - I am at my 3 month post op now.
