Deceptive Website Pricing Page, Terrible Consult Experience
I did not end up getting a procedure. Consult went terrible. Pricing listed on website is extremely deceptive. Two procedures I was interested in are listed on website as starting at $8000. Went in for consult, took 20 minutes to fill out forms because even though I called twice in the proceeding week to make sure they were emailed, they did not email them, and yes I did check my spam folder.
I waited another hour and finally saw the doctor. He recommended both of the procedures, mid face and mini facelift. Both are listed on website as starting at $8000. I was shocked when after consult the office manager came with quote for $40,000. One procedure was $25,000 and the other $15,000. I don't understand how something starting at $8000 can escalate to $25,000 when I have a normal face without any complications or issues.
When I asked her about it and showed her the website the office manager was extremely rude and said she would just give me back my consult money in return for me never coming back.
This is not my first plastic surgery and I was shocked at her utter rudeness. Also, the doctor indicated there would probably be a discount doing both procedures at the same time, and the office manager was very rude when I asked her about that.
Maybe the money they are asking is not out of line, but the information on the website certainly is out of line. I never would've gone in for a consult if they had listed those prices. The pricing listed is not in the slightest bit transparent.
