Day 2- post op

Sorry it's taken me so long for an update but the first two days I was in a lot of pain. I received a lift with a 350 filled with 400ccs on each side. I was extremely happy with the incision Dr. Blake decided to go with. I was so afraid of the three different incisions it usually takes for a lift. Day of surgery, once home and resting I would wake up every 4hrs in excruciating pain. The bottle of the prescription said to take one tablet every six hours; however, when nurse Sarah called me on yesterday to follow up she said I sctudlly could've taken one every four hours. Fast forward to today and I feel so much better . I've been off my meds and I've only taken Tylenol twice today. I was advised I could take a shower this evening which I did. I was told I could get the incindions wet and to just towel dry the strips afterwards.

Day 1 post op

My surgery went really well. All of the staff were amazing as usual. Before going under Doctor Blake spoke with me again about my expectations. Very kind and understanding. He was as honest as he could be in reference to the pain that I would experience afterwards. I remember walking into the surgical room laying down, receiving meds through the IV, oxygen and that's all. When I woke up I was in recovery. I couldn't leave until they felt like I was ok to go and urinating first. I began to experience a lot of pain but was not allowed to get meds until I ate and drank water. The ride home was a bit uncomfortable and bumpy. Last night was the worst. The medicine wore off in exactly four ours. I thought I could only take them every 6 hours so I suffered until then. Nurse Sara called me this morning to check on me, schedule my first post op, and advised that I could take a shower tomorrow night. I'm still in quite a bit of pain so il will update more tomorrow and upload pics before my shower tomorrow night.

Dr. Blake was very nice and professional. He and all of his staff have made me feel very comfortable thought this process. I've changed the date of my procedure three times now due to other obligations and each time they've been very nice and understanding. I appreciated how in depth DR. Blake was in explaining my procedure and elaborating on his recommendations.
