I knew I wanted a BA after I stopped nursing 2 years ago, and I finally pulled the trigger and scheduled a consult. Surgery was set for 7 weeks later, on April 3rd. Now that’s only 3 days away! I am going for silicone implants, under the muscle, Areola incision, 300-350 ccs. I always wear heavily padded bras to give myself more shape, so I’m hoping after the surgery it will not be noticeable to anyone other than myself. I can’t wait to wear a swimsuit or summer dress without a padded bra this summer!
I posted a pic of my current boobies, as well as a couple of wish pics.

2 hours until surgery!

Ugh, the waiting is the worst. I’m trying really hard to keep myself calm. I just keep reminding myself that the end result will be worth it :)
My surgeon is using twilight sleep instead of general anesthesia. Hoping I am not aware of what is going on during the procedure. ????

Maybe in 4 hours or so from now I will be waking up with my new boobs!

The wish pics I chose to show my doctor are attached here.

Surgery went well. I was s little disoriented and emotional waking up from anesthesia, especially when I found out they had only put in 215ccs. Now I worry they are too small.

what did he do to your nipples?

The incision was done on the top of the Areola. The reason for this is one of my nipples sat slightly lower (I had never noticed) so he lifted one up a couple centimeters

Your augmentation looks great! Since your surgery, are you happy with your results? Why was a smaller size used?
October 28, 2018
I am happy! I think he used a small size because I had shown him picture of looks I liked, and ones I didn’t like. He started at 300, but when he put those in he said they looked just like my “don’t” pictures, so he made the call to take them out and go smaller. I think it was s good decision. I love the way they look. I kind of wish they were bigger sometimes, but honestly they look 100% natural the way they are, and if I had gone bigger they may have ended up looking too “fake”- which as a 30-something Mom, I really didn’t want.

I see, that makes sense. Yes they look great and very natural. I’m glad to hear you’re happy with them. I have a consultation with Dr. Blake on next Wednesday. Your review helped me to choose him to consult with. I’m excited to meet with him!

Good luck! Let us know how it goes. The best recommendation I can give is be as clear as possible about what you want. Final decisions are made in the operating room. Of course, you are under, and not able to give your input at that point :)
