I honestly wish I had good things to say. I waited...

I honestly wish I had good things to say. I waited a long time to write this, hoping somehow I'd have an experience with this doctor that would redeem all of the negatives. Everything with Dr. Moore and his staff went fine until after my surgery. Once he'd operated on me, Dr. Moore had "nurses" (I seriously think some were actually office girls though) do every single one of my follow-ups. From my communications with other patients of his, this is pretty standard for him. I've never met another surgeon with an attitude like his and if I'd known how he'd be once he'd gotten my money, I'd have chosen someone else to do my breast augmentation. Oh and the results? Subpar and unattractive. His marketing gimmick with the "practically pain free" BA is the only good thing he has to offer, I highly doubt he had multiple pairs of implants that he "tried on" me during surgery because everything seemed about speed with him and pushing that "rapid recovery" aspect (which most surgeons around here do anyway) because they really just don't look good or well-placed. I trusted his "expert" opinion on many counts and it ended up being a huge mistake.
Which is heartbreaking when you have been looking forward to surgery and THINK you've communicated well with your surgeon about what you REALLY don't want, and what you do want. For how condescending and hot-shot this "doctor's" attitude is, you'd think he'd at least be good at his job. There's a reason there are so little before and after pictures on his website.

The best example I can give to sum up this man is this- it took me specifically requesting to have an appointment with HIM, the person who actually did my surgery, before they'd schedule it. Once I arrived at the appointment, an office girl and a nurse both attempted to answer my questions and talk their way around the surgery-specific ones they couldn't answer, and then asked me if I still needed to see Dr. Moore. I told them yes, that was why I was there and specifically had scheduled to see HIM.
When Dr. Moore walked in ten minutes later, he spoke in a sharp tone with me from the first word, was condescending and defensive, and brought out my before and now pictures and (summarizing here) basically told me to look at what I had before and be grateful they didn't look like that anymore. He proceeded to try to shame me into being happy with my result by reminding me how unseemly my breasts were before. When I didn't react the way he apparently wanted me to, he said, "I know a lot of patients who have way worse results, whose pictures I could show you." Like him doing mediocre work on other patients was supposed to make me feel better about the less than satisfactory results he'd given me?! And is that even ethical?? He then interrupted me while I tried to explain that I was trying to be thorough and communicative because I'd learned that was the best way to be through my extensive health history, by saying flippantly, "You don't have health problems," ( apparently a life-threatening illness and a series of surgeries to save my life aren't enough to constitute health problems to this "doctor") and then standing up to leave like he was done with me wasting his time.

Use your money on a better surgeon and don't be fooled by their patient-wooing charade. They encouraged me to post a review here at my next day follow-up and I can see why. A few weeks out, my opinion had drastically changed. Glad I waited to write this review, if it keeps anyone from making the same mistake I did. I definitely won't be seeing this doctor for any revision work, if I can afford to have it done anytime soon after spending money on my BA.

TL;DR version: Basically I spent a bunch of money on results that make me sad and unhappy on a near daily basis, and Dr. Moore's horrible bedside manner and the way he verbally attacks you when you have any questions or concerns, just add insult to injury. Avoid this "doctor". His patients are apparently not people to him and he has only his own best interest in mind.

The used car salesman of plastic surgery. SEEMS great until after the surgery, when I had the gall to ask questions and point out concerns...Might as well have had a nurse do my surgery since all interactions following surgery are with office girls and nurses/cna's. If you try to meet with the doctor post surgery you are made to feel like you're wasting his time....
