Tired of being sore :/

I'm struggling with feeling so sore and not myself for so long. And not sleeping well probably adds to that. My new stitches are looking good so I'm happy about that but it's hard feeling so bad for so long and being kind of stuck in the house. I feel fat and lazy and crabby. Hoping this passes but I'm irritated that I'm going through all of this and my boobs are still bigger than I wanted. Maybe when I'm feeling good I won't be so pissy about it and maybe once the swelling and bruising has gone away but they are big and the larger of the two is STILL bigger so I'm lopsided. See? I'm just a crab. If I was so sore but things look small and cute it would be one thing but to be so sore and not like what I ended up with stinks.

I need to take a breathe and relax, I know. The lipo areas are SORE but I'm so glad we did it. Anyone know if a tight bra is okay right now? The ones from the surgeon are looser and so things move around and rub where the one I have is relatively right and I'm pretty squashed in it but then there is less movement. Anyone know?

I think it took a good 6-8 weeks for the swelling to go down for me. I had a lot of bruising too. Hang in there :)

I didnt wear anything other than the bra the ps gave me for at least 3 weeks. After that i started wearing tighter sports bras. You probably dont want the too tight until they heal a bit more

Emotions and reality.
Being emotional is good because it's part of your mind assessing what's happened over the past 3 weeks and recovering from it. Having being refused surgery twice you're approved, quickly have a mammogram, possible bad news so rapidly have a biopsy, could be cancerous could lose a breast, await results, thankfully good news you have a benign growth, breast reduction surgery back on, have surgery, nearly lose a nipple, pain, pain, pain, not sure of size, asymmetric and more.
I think you're entitled to be emotional, don't you?
Please don't try and block out what you've been through and what you're going through now. Let it all come into your mind when your mind choses and think about it: let this happen when your mind wants and you'll be better emotionally (mentally) sooner. Your mind does have to recover from the trauma you've endured.
Onto your body, I think your breasts are really suiting you. I say that because if you have a look at the few little freckles you have on your before photos and those you posted yesterday you'll see how much higher your breasts now are, meaning they're a lot smaller. Your boobs are also substantially smaller at the sides. And they're still bruised and swollen so when healed will be smaller. It may not be much consolation, but if your breasts are slightly different sizes you'll be the same as every other person as we're all asymmetric.
I am sorry you're sore though only time will sort that out.
It's easy to say be patient and relax, just be yourself.
I hope you keep healing well.

Ask your PS about maybe wearing a sports bra. As for the size and healing it takes a couple of months to get back to normal. I had surgery 5 months ago. Had a lift and replace old implants. It didn't heal good, got cellulitis and fat necrosis which I'm still fighting. My PS removed implants a month in and said I need to heal up for a year before he will do anything further. A year with teeny boobies!!! I still have open weaping holes on both nipples

Oops! Some of Mt comment disappeared. Anyway, give it time to heal and swelling to go down. Your results look great. Best of luck to you!

Early days yet- my swelling didn't come down significantly until 3-4 weeks. My larger breast was still larger, because more work was done on it. It was more irritated. I was convinced it would still be larger at the time. It not. Give yourself time to heal.

Total removed

Jennifer81654
Finally remembered to ask how much they removed during my surgery because a nurse after my procedure had said 300 or 320 grams but the actual total ended up being 412 grams from the right side and 479 from the left!

Having read all you've written and looked at your before and after photos it looks like you're doing tremendously well. Taking into account all the bruising you have, there's going to be quite a bit of swelling, which as your body gets over the invasive nature of the surgery, including liposuction and pretty large amounts of tissue removed, will mean your breasts will reduce in size.
You've already thought about your breasts suiting your frame and being in proportion, so it's likely that removal of even more tissue could have resulted in you possibly feeling small and very disappointed.
You've had a lot of traumas in just a few days so it's hardly surprising if you're questioning how you'll be. Remember also that some anaesthetics can send us in a roller coaster of emotions until they work out of the system: also some pain relieving medications can have some unwanted emotional side effects also.
Oh I just remembered, if you look at the small horizontal mark on the front of your body in the 3 day and 7 day photos it looks like your right breast, if not both, has lifted (become smaller) in those 4 days.
Keep going, you're doing really well so far. In just a few weeks you'll probably be thinking phew, that's more like it.
I wish you well for a good recovery.

Thank you so much, my emotions are all over the place :)

I think you are looking great and just hang in there, things really will get easier.

As a point of reference if this helps,
I started out a 34 DD and DDD (one side was bigger than the other). Between my original surgery and revision, I ended up having pretty much the same removed as you in total and I am now a C cup. So hopefully that's where you'll end up too!

That's nice to know - I know I shouldn't be so hung up on the cup size, I just really wanted small boobs! :)

That's almost a pound from one and more than a pound from the other! I bet once swelling goes down, you will perfectly proportioned.

Congrats on your results:-)
I am almost 4 weeks post op and the first week, by far, was the hardest. It just gets easier from there!

That's so good to know! How much swelling did you have? I can't tell if I have much swelling or if this is just the size I'm going to be. The one side looked much bigger in that photo so I'm really hoping that at least that much is just from being swollen but I suppose I just wait and see how it goes? How did your results end up? I'm so glad I ended up doing this but this week has been rough at times!

I had a lot more swelling in my larger breast after surgery. I'm assuming because more was removed? At about 2 weeks when I went for my post op, it really looked like there was a noticeable size difference (a cup size perhaps) between the two. At 3 weeks the gap had seriously narrowed so that the difference is nominal, at most. I can see there is still some shadowing (swelling) in the larger one, so assuming there's still some shrinkage going to happen.
Also, at 2 weeks and 2 days I noticed that when I went to bed, I could almost side sleep without discomfort. I took a tip from someone on here though and put a sock between my breasts for sleeping so it would relieve any tension in the side sleep position:-)
