Update just over a week

It's been just over a week and I am so happy and grateful that I no longer have breast implants. Actually, I am thrilled beyond belief!! My results pretty much look the same as they did in the last picture so no updates but I am posting a pic of my incisions 1 week out. I had my post op appointment on Wednesday and found out that my implants were in tact when they were removed and that I had no restrictions as far as activities. They took pictures and I was on my merry way. I went back to work that day and felt really tired for the first two days at work (Wednesday and Thursday----days 5 and 6 after surgery). Friday (day 7) was better and yesterday (day 8) was perfect. Saturday I wasn't even thinking about my breasts much at all. That was wonderful! I am starting to have moments of completely feel back to my real self.

I am still wearing the genie bra and am waiting for my incisions to heal before I shop for bras. I am absolutely loving the smallness of my breasts and how unselfconscious I now feel that they are gone and I have my natural breasts. No more trying to hide! Although my breasts look the same as they did a week ago, the thing I notice the most is how they FEEL. They are not as squishy and tender and sore. Dented areas are filling out. They are firmer and I can touch them and not worry about them so much. Healing is happening. I don't have that burning sensation that I had every second of every day when they were implanted. I am loving being natural. This is the best thing I have ever done for myself.

I found an etsy store that sells breast massage oil. Excellent customer service and very reasonable price. Check it out! 1 I started using it yesterday and it is so nice!

Someone at work told me a saying " Make your mess your message". I think that is fitting in a way. Even though I made a mistake, I can turn it into something good, and perhaps help someone else with their "mess". So my message is this: Just do it! Love yourself and get those implants out and start living natural and free. It's the best :)

day after pic

Well this morning I took off the ace bandage to take a shower. I was a little nervous to take it off but was more than grateful about my results. Thank God. Thank everyone who has supported me a lifted me up in prayer and sent positive and healing thoughts.
I went to Rite Aid today and bought the Genie bra size Medium. It fits well and is supportive and snug. It also has removable pads which are nice for nipple coverage. I would recommend this bra. It is affordable $19.00 for a two pack.
I am feeling really good. My incisions look great and I just have a little bruising around the incision area. I started my antiobiotic which I will take for 5 days. I have had to take no pain medication not even a tylenol.

It's done!!

My surgery went well. My friend took me and I couldn't have had a better person with me. I am grateful for all of your support positive thoughts and prayers. Also all of the women at my work supported me to the maximum and held me up in prayer. I really felt the love and light from my aforementioned teams surrounding me along with my angels before I went in to surgery. Yes this was prior to any anesthesia, lol. I am home and healing. The actual surgery took 30 minutes. I am wearing an ace bandage and can shower tomorrow and then change into a bra. I have peeked and they look great! I am now feeling a little pain but it's bearable. I start my antiobiotics tonight and if I need to I can take a Tylenol. I have no drains. My post op appointment is on Wednesday. I posted some anecdotes abouty surgery in my comments section. :)
