Please Do Your Research, I Wish I Had.
My experience with Dr Morris was less than desirable. I was rushed through the consultation and surgery and didn’t have a chance to make the best decision for me. My fault, yes, I should have said slow down and make them go at my pace, but I didn’t, so I am party to blame. I went in for a breast augmentation in 2006 when the new cohesive gel implants became available. I was advised that I would be part of a “study”. I was just so excited to get these implants and feel so much better about myself. I had the surgery, and almost immediately noticed something wrong with my left breast. It was extremely hard and much larger than the right. I was told it’s part of healing. Even after my yearly “study” visits.... I complained of this issue and was told it’s normal. I had never had implants before but didn’t feel this to be accurate. I trusted this man to be honest and forthcoming with me, but he was not. Two years after, the study was canceled with No explanation (supposed to be a 10 year study) and no further visits were required. I still voiced my concern about the left breast with no end result. 12 years after getting the implants, I discovered a lump in my left breast.... I was sent for mammogram, which concluded I had a ruptured breast implant, and required further testing. My insurance would not approve an MRI until the implants were taken out. I had a surgery to have implants removed, and found that they were indeed not ruptured, but when the surgeon opened my left breast, we were all surprised to find a brown milky fluid, that had some sort of chunks of something in it. I was unable to receive new breast implants due to this fluid at that time. I was sent for an MRI, and found to be healthy, all of the lumps, all of the fluid, everything was gone. I called Dr. Morris office to discuss this with them and they told me that they had no record of me having surgery there. I regret the day that I walked into his office, let him put something foreign inside my body, wouldn’t address my concerns, and now.... when things got bad, has no record of me. Ladies, please do your research before letting someone alter your body. I wish I had.
