17 months since my procedure

WORTH IT
I continue to age. Always fighting weight and trying to lose it. I am not sure if at my age I should have anymore work done. Could use a tummy tuck and flabby arms fixed. I may consider it this fall when I return to FL. Just thinking about it!

I was at Peace with Dr Dreshen doing my procedure. He has had 30 yrs experience. He and his staff were wonderful. I felt like I was in the best hands. I had seen his results and all were very good.

I have been amazed with your results since I became a member of RS in October! I'm 15 days post-op recovering from lower facelift which included an extended neck lift. I also had upper and lower blephs. I know its redundant to say, but your results are stunning!
I'm replying here because I saw where you mentioned getting flabby arms fixed. Oh, boy, do I wish I could have that done! I hate drawing someone's eye to my arms when I wear sleeveless blouses!!
Ha Ha - I do lift weights - but the skin still sags and I am not that overweight. - so maybe - but I figured using my money on my face which shows first and cover my arms when possible. :-)
Yes, I don't dare wear sleeveless. I am so grateful for my face looking so much better. It took several weeks for all of the swelling to go away. Be patient and rest as much as possible and drink a lot of water! Thank you!

Almost a year and a half since my procedure

If you are thinking about getting a facelift, RealSelf is a great way to educate yourself and to find a good doctor. I am so glad I had my procedure when I did. My before and after pictures tells it all!

Why I Like RealSelf

As I read the stories of cosmetic surgery procedures I am Amazed at the many problems that have occurred as a result of bad surgeries. Thankful now there is a place to expose the ones who have done so poorly to serve the patients they received compensation from. However, Just as importantly I am so glad to know that people can find good and great results by seeing before and after pictures and reading about successful results and excellent doctors with years of practice and HAPPY CLIENTS.....as I am! My doctor and his staff did a great job for me. I know there are many other good ones out there and the Real Self gives us the TRUE picture of how to find them. Thanks to Dr Christian Drehsen for making me so HAPPY! A little over a year ago I had a big procedure.(neck,face and brow, etc) He watched over me for 3 months with follow up included appointments and healing treatments.. It has been my fault that I have gained a few pounds, but never the less still very happy with my new appearance he did for me. The sagging neck especially, gone. He told me it would NEVER COME BACK. HAPPY AND GRATEFUL MY HUSBAND FOUND THE RIGHT SURGEON FOR ME!

I can't believe it has been over a year following your story. You made me a true believer, that plastic surgery can be done right. I will be having my own in two days, a mommy maker. Wow, coming soon. Excited for you. If I had any pointers to give you it would be, Give yourself time to heal. The first few days especially. I can remember the first time I looked in the mirror I thought, OMG I have ruined myself. I takes a couple of months for swelling to completely go away. After a couple of weeks I started to go out with make up and sunglasses on. Take time to rest and look forward to the New Look!

Thank you. Getting a front tooth implant this week. Everything is so expensive. I guess I would do much more if it did not cost so much to do anything to self improve with cosmetic Surgery.
