Still not sure if it’s worth it

This is my first time doing Microneedling RF, Scarlet. This is the 1st treatment out of 3. Topical numbing cream was applied to my face for about 40 minutes before starting. I hardly felt anything at first until it was time to go around my eyes and my lips. The skin around the eyes are sensitive as it is, I could definitely feel the pricks of the needles. It was a stinging sensation.

I didn’t realize that you could do this procedure on the upper and lower eyelid because of how thin and sensitive that skin is. Once my whole face was done they applied a serum. Within the next 5 mins my face started burning. It was very red and my eyes got very swollen. It felt like a very bad sunburn. Once in my car, I blasted the cold ac on my face to help the burning/stinging sensation.

That let up a few hours after the procedure. However the swelling in my eyes got worse. I’m on day 3 and my eyes are finally getting back to normal. I also started breaking out with the acne spots, which could be skin purging they said. Overall I don’t see any positive difference even though I know it takes time… I have to schedule my next session in 4 weeks. So I’m still up in the air about this.
