Morpheus 8 (RF Microneedling) - 1st Treatment Report
I am a 58 y/o white female. Retired. Living in a town outside Guadalajara, Mexico.
I decided on RF Microneedling after looking into Thermage, Ultherapy, and various laser therapies. I am looking for a "refresh" of my face, neck, and chest without going full face lift and with minimal down time. My goal is to lessen wrinkles on forehead and around eyes and mouth, reduce nasolabial folds and gobbler under my chin, and clear up some of the sun damage from years of poo-pooing sunscreen (dumb - DON´T DO IT!).
I am having three treatments spaced 4-5 weeks apart. A full treatment for my face, neck, and chest area is approx. $720 USD each. This includes a follow up 7 days after each appointment.
I arrived an hour before my appointment so the nurse could apply numbing gel.
My dermatologist went over my face, neck, and chest twice with the Morpheus 8 wand/gun. Very little pain thanks to the industrial-strength numbing cream. There were a couple of areas where I had a little zap - mostly areas where there´s not much fat/muscle over the bone: Eyebrow area, hairline, and upper lip. The discomfort level was about the same as a botox injection to that area and hurt WAY less than lip filler!
50 minutes later I´m done.
I am 2 hours post-treatment writing this and have no discomfort. The numbing gel is finally starting to wear off. I have a very small bruise under my left eye but otherwise, no tracks, redness, etc.
I will post pictures again before my next treatment to measure progress.
