Lost Facial Volume

I would not recommend this service to anyone over 50. I had three treatments spaced over an 8 month period and although it temporarily improved the texture of my skin, now my cheeks appear hollow and my face is really sagging. Nobody tells you this but if you research it, you’ll find out the this procedure will decrease the volume by destroying the fat in your face.

Hello! What machine did you use for your procedure? I too have fat loss along with being burned and now scared.

It was the PIXEL8-RF. I am 67 years old and loss of volume was already a problem. This procedure has accentuated the problem.

I also have fat loss along with scarring. The machine used on me was Profound. I have also lost elasticity. I now have a turkey neck and I am 44.

I’m much older than you but before this procedure I didn’t have turkey neck and now I do. I did this procedure to improve my acne scars around my chin. It made them more obvious because now my skin is sagging. I’m actually thinking of doing the Halo laser but maybe that will be a mistake.

I didn't have a turkey neck before the procedure either. It's seems RF Microneedling with any machine isn't safe!

I was recommended 3 treatments. There was No improvement on my acne scars and this procedure created volume loss. I would not recommend this treatment to older individuals or anyone with a thin face. Waste of money but my biggest regret is for the pain there was no gain.

?? WARNING ?? TOP FACIAL PLASTIC SURGEON WARNING ABOUT THESE PROCEDURES

Recently found this in an article that realself published in plastic surgery news. Dr. Amir Karam is a top Facial Plastic Surgeon in San Diego, California. “Attempts to use deep radiofrequency microneedling to tighten up deep muscle or fascia come at the cost of potentially melting and damaging that subcutaneous fat layer, because the fat is directly under the skin,” warns Dr. Karam, who spends a lot of time educating the public on this issue through his social media platforms. “These energy devices place energy through the skin, through the fat, on their way toward the deeper fascia and, along the way, damage that subcutaneous fat.” If you’ve seen the complaints on TikTok about RF microneedling making patients’ faces look older, this is why—fat keeps the face looking young. These pose an even greater risk to your facial fat’s integrity when performed poorly or aggressively.
