Microneedling with PRP
I had Microneedling with PRP and PRP injections at Pura Vida Medical Spa and the treatment and results were amazing!
I’ve struggled with textural issues with my skin my entire life dealing with large pores, acne scars and more.
I had microneedling done once before, somewhere else, which was painful and resulted in a lot of bruising.
At Pura Vida it was just the opposite. I barely felt the tool when it went over my skin and after the treatment I had no bruising. When I asked them whythis was I found out it is because they have their numbing cream specially formulated (they do not just use the regular numbing cream that comes with the tool) so it is much more effective.
Having the special numbing cream made all the difference in the world because they were able to go as deep as 2.5 millimeters, so the results were significantly better, able to enhance the texture of my skin even more and it was honestly an easy, painless process.
Also after the treatment there was extra PRP left over that they didn’t want to waste, so yet gave me the option to have it injected in other areas on my face as an extra boost in those areas to help stimulate collagen, which was a
huge BONUS. I had the injections in the crows feet around my eyes, in my cheeks and in my nasolabial folds. The lines are already much improved and I can’t wait to see the continued improvements over the next few weeks as the collagen continues to increase.
Doing the microneedling with PRP plus PRP injections and specially formulated numbing cream at Pura Vida resulted in much faster recovery and much better results than my previous experience elsewhere and was so worth it. I highly recommend it and Pura Vida Medical Spa!
