6 month update
$1,500
Currently I am about 6 months out from my last treatment. I’m happy to report that my skin has continued to improve over the last several months. My skin tone is still not even, but my scars are far less pitted than they were initially.
About 2 months ago I started microneedling at home once a week. I also use a scar gel nightly. Pictures of both products are attached.

2 Months Post 3rd Treatment
Updating to add photos of my results. These photos were taken 2 months after my 3rd and final session. I can notice an overall difference in my skin. The tone is more even and the scars are less noticeable. Was it worth the $1500 price tag? I’m still on the fence about that. My dermatologist did recommend 3 additional treatments for my cheeks to help further reduce the scars and I haven’t decided if I’ll proceed with those. I’ll keep you guys updated. Thank you for your support!

Have you tried Obagi? I’d check that out. Lasering too.
I'm so grateful for your review! Thank you! Your skin does look like it improved. I'm thinking of getting a package of three micro needling with PRP, but am wondering how long you have to keep your face bloody (like can I get it done and then go back to work in a couple hours).
My face was never "bloody". The PRP is clear because it's spun down and separated from the blood so what's applied to your face is actually clear. It's then wiped off and a moisturizing serum is applied prior to leaving the office. I always had my procedures done at the very end of the day and just went home. My face was VERY red immediately after. About an hour after the procedure it had calmed down but still looked like a bad sunburn. I was advised not to wear makeup for 48 hours post procedure for best results. I did purchase something called AllCalm from my dermatologist-it's a redness correcting serum with SPF50. It did a decent job of masking the redness so I felt comfortable going it public (I used it those first 48 hours).
Let me know if you have any other questions.
Good luck!
For me, after each morning procedure they drenched the remaining PRP solution all over my face. I was told to leave it on as long as I could. I took the rest of the day off as I was pretty red. If you are unable to leave it on a long time, at least 2-3 hours is better than nothing. By next day, I was able to gently put light makeup on.
Thanks for showing your results after more time has passed. Your skin looks great
Your skin really does look very pretty...thanks for the update!
You have to remember it takes 30 days to see the effect as it takes 30 days for new skin celle to grow. And the result will improve over the next 3-4
months.
months.

3rd Treatment
I’m currently one week out from my third treatment of microneedling with PRP. I had a more aggressive treatment this time and also had PRP injected into my skin where my scars were more severe. Immediately following treatment I had a lot more redness and peeling this time around. My skin remained bumpy for about 4 days. I’m still a little red but almost back to normal. This was my final treatment of microneedling. I’m waiting a few more days to determine if it has been worth it.

I think your skin looks much better after the treatment. How is it now?
I can see a huge improvement!!! Are you continuing with this procedure?
I agree. It appears your scars look far less noticeable and your skin has a far more even tone and color!
How’s it coming along?
Please let us know how you think your results are.
