Multiple Scar Treatments Healed After Verteporfin with Microneedling
6 sessions of microneedling with verteporfin injection
3 burn scars on leg and 1 incision scar on forehead behind hairline , treated by a doctor in Greece. Scars have totally disappeared.
Size of scar, one was 9 cm , three others were 1-3 cm
Scar on hairline was very small and barely visible , Skin incision was made with Laser like 1-2cm max
Micro needling + Verteporfin injection
Two sessions a month for 6 months
Micro needle at 2 to 3 mm, M8 needle
Followed a series of steps, including sterilizing the needle, applying ketoconazole cream for its anti-inflammatory properties, using other creams, and finally injecting the drug after the microneedling process.
The treatment was done in Greece, doctor has other patients who injected verteporfin after scar revision or micro needling. I have also heard of one other person from same provider who used it on his stretch marks and is it now scarless.
