Do not get microneedling it's the devil, I got only 2 treatments 1 year ago, my skin has only started to heal but its still covered in holes and damage, its cost upmost of £2000.00 to treat the damage

Same. I've been so depressed for the last year & 4 months. Not even acne scarred me as bad as this and made me look older
I'm so so sorry its heartbreaking... This treatment should be against the law... It seems to get worse once everything heals... To this day everytime I look in the mirror I could cry. Although mine has healed lots I'm still damaged.

My dermatologist gave me a retinol but its gentle enough to use once or twice a week... This has been helpful I also use the ZO skincare... I got the Charlotte Tilbury magic cream for Christmas which is lovely but it does nothing for my skin at all just gives a wee glow... Oh and a use a cream called ROZEX GEL... Its been a truly expensive journey.

I am curious to know if you have porcelain type skin like mine. It’s almost pore less type. It’s devastating, the marks are there like invisible tattoos. Did it affect the skin around your eyes? Mine was beautiful as well and now it’s a disaster.
I'd recommend microneedling to anyone - I had a rather intensive course a couple of years ago (luckily for me, by a friend in the business). It did wonders for my skin (and people have noticed the improvement). I'm so sorry that yours went wrong for you. I currently use products from "The Ordinary" (just not all at the same time) and have just started to use "Isomers" Matrixyl products xx
Im really happy you got lucky with your treatment... And that you could good results.

There is a large community of people that have been extremely damaged for life by microneedling.

I use some of the best products and have been working on healing my skin since I had microneedling done over a year ago... And I still have swelling and big holes all over my face.

Sad thing was I had beautiful skin to start with...

I'm a beauty lover I adore products and makeup but microneedling has truly damaged my skin... I pray one day its fully recovered.

But I'm happy you had a good experience... Alot of people on this forum have had there self confidence destroyed
