Microneedling

$300

I posted my 1 month results of my microneedling i got done back in July and I was a bit impatient and overall came to a conclusion that it didn’t help my skin that much. Someone left a comment saying it takes up to 4 months so here I am again, 4 months later. I do wanna say that i’ve been very consistent with my skincare routine which has a lot to do with the improvement in my skin as well. If you don’t really want to wait 4 months to see results then I wouldn’t recommend microneedling. Patience is key.

Try retin a .25%. I've noticed a difference with my acne scars and wrinkles withina couple of weeks.

4 weeks after Microneedling

This is a full month after getting microneedling done. I feel like you could see it slightly improve after 2 weeks but now after 4 weeks I feel like i’m back to where I started. Still getting breakouts in my trouble areas (jawline & cheeks)

There is this stuff called DIRTY GIRL made buy PUR. It is a mud mask. I guarantee that if you put a little on your spots and leave it on over night you will see your acne dry up. Its amazing stuff. Just make sure you buy it from Pur and not Amazon. With Amazon you never know what u are getting.
I will have to try this, thank you!
Micro needling is a great option for scarring, but not intended for skin with active acne present. As the needling spreads the bacteria causing breakouts to worsen. It’s best to do a couple of peels to address the acne/scarring. Once the skin clears-micro needling.

Microneedling

Originally I had planned to get a chemical peel done but when I went to an esthetician i was
recommended to get microneedling just because this was my first time getting anything done on my
skin and she didn’t want to dive right in with something so strong. This is progress in 2 weeks, I can definitely see an improvement in my skin but I feel like if I want to completely get rid of it all id still need 3-4 more microneedling treatments. I want to see if I can get a Chemical Peel since i do feel they would show results faster.

I can see your skin is slightly improving. Hope after your 3-4 more treatments can get the result you want.
Believe me, microneedling takes 4 months, but it’s worth it
I got a strong chemical peel and skin has never been the same. It has been very dry the past 2 years. I’ve tried everything and nothing works. I regret getting that chemical peel. A plastic surgeon that I get my Botox from said she’s shocked that they gave me get that strong chemical peel. Waste of money. Did absolutely nothing. Laser is better. A dermatologist just did a little on my acne scars and it helped a lot.
Yes. I absolutely want to get microneedling.
I know you want instant results but BE CAREFUL! I had a chemical peel and I didnt know I had a staph infection. The chemical peel spread it all over my face. I delt with boils and cysts for a couple of years (painful). Then I had fraxel laser treatments ($10,000) that got rid of the staph (thank god) but the laser treatments caused loss of pigmentation in certain spots. So be very careful when getting stuff done. Remember... there is no such thing as a quick fix.
