Microneedling RF Gone Wrong

After a brief consult with my dermatologist regarding skin concerns- aging, laxity, acne scars on lower face and neck she recommended RF Micro. I went in for the first session- only 2 passes at levels 12 and 13 and then asked we hold off on pass 3 to be on the conservative side. I wasn’t given any written post procedural instructions, and only advised on when to resume retinol use after asking the PA directly before she left the room. The aesthetician did a calming treatment and handed me a bag of skincare samples- verbal directions basically “cold compresses, no harsh soaps, use sunscreen”. 10 days later, I still look like I just had the treatment. Grid marks, redness, irritation. Is this permanent damage? I advise anyone researching this to understand it is a major procedure. I was given no pre procedure directives nor cautioned at this possibility. Be safe yall

This is temporary damage. My advice is too use plenty of skin lightening creams like vitamin C serum or kojic acids or arbutin cream. You may rotate this day and night. I will take a few months to fade those marks completely. Remember to use Sunblock too.
RF Microneedling is a major thing and not to be taken lightly. The surgeon I went to used Morpheus.
