I just wanted to post a photo today as my before picture. I used a dermaroller one week ago and I have my first microdermabrasion and glycolic peel scheduled for April 13th. I guess the only thing I'm really expecting from the peel and microdermabrasion is to clean out my pores and make my skin look bright and refreshed, but idk what will happen yet. Really my problems are large pores and my face not looking plump and young anymore. That's why I started with the dermaroller last week. I'll be rolling once every 6 weeks to try to improve my face from my eyes and down, as I don't really have a problem with my forehead, other than pores. I just look tired and clearly am aging. I do use tretinoin 0.01% and love that. I use it almost every day so I'm constantly flaking off skin.
Trying to improve skin
I bought a Groupon for microdermabrasion. I've never had one done before. The package also includes led light therapy and a chemical peel, but I'm not sure which one. I've never done any of those things before so I'm hoping it goes well. Currently I'm using obagi tretinoin 0.01 and have since maybe October or so. Ive gradually built up to about 5 days a week. I usually forget to do it friday and saturday. I've drank and alcohol 3x in the past 8 weeks. I'm sure that plays a roll in skin. I also bought the skinmedica tns essential serum today because I found it on sale at a spa for 30% off
