Almost a Year Later..

I have been receiving Microdermabrasion every weeks and I love it. After receiving the treatment, my skin purges (all the bacteria comes to the surface in the form of pimples) and then a week and a half later my skin is like butter! Love love love!

Follow-up

I went to the esthetician about the scabbing and she told me she's never seen that happen but I should continue the instructions she gave me and if it didn't clear up in two weeks to give her a call back.

She also advised all the horrible acne was my skin purging all the bacteria in preparation for cell turn over. My skin was HORRIBLE, dull, dry, filled with acne, lots of darkened areas and rough to the touch.

The next day while showering i slathered my face with aloe Vera gel and took a hot steamy bath. When I came out of the shower and wiped my face most of the scabbing came off and revealed my normal skin.

My skin began to clear up after that and now my skin is back to normal with minimized pores and I do see the hyperpigmented spots getting lighter. The darkened areas from the micro are gone.

My next appointment is June 7th, I will update then.

Microdermabrasion - Dark Skin Female

If you have read my laser treatment story, I have detailed that I was looking into getting microdermabrasion for dark spots on my face and to make my pores smaller. I also have very oily t zone area.

I received my first treatment with a diamond tip may 4th 2018 and scheduled another Appt. For 4 weeks thereafter. The lady who had done mine continually cancelled appts so I went to another place in which my sister in law had gone and has great results.

I received this treatment 3 days ago - June 5th 2018. This time I did the crystal microdermabrasion.

The first time I got micro my skin felt sensitive for the first 5 days, it was dull and I didn't want to wear makeup on it. After the week passed my skin was back to normal and looked beautiful.

This time around I have scabs near my nose, my skin is dull, dry and darker than the areas that she did not complete it on (under my eyes for instance). I Wil be calling her today to see if this is normal and if anything can be done to combat this. I'm very worried that this will be permanent.

I've been taking precautionary measures. Staying out of the sun, wearing sunscreen and keeping moisturized.

I will update once I get in contact with the esthetician.
