Worth It
I have sparse Asian eyebrows and I alsop overplucked from my teen years. Needless to say, I was thrilled with the microblading results. Yes, I feel I could've taken the time to do more research and interview different providers. But honestly, I don't always feel comfortable doing that. Elysia seemed to be a pretty high profile artist, especially within the Korean community. Plus she specializes in Asian hairs so I went with her services. Every now and then I feel like it could've been done better (more precise and thinner lines) but I'm a perfectionist and I'm happy to say I like my results especially compared to what I started with. No more spending 5-15m on eyebrow makeup and even worse when they wash off from swimming/sweating. That was what I didn't want to deal with the most. I had a touch up and since then I can just wake up and I don't look like a ghost.
My only advice: take the time to find someone who really has great results and isn't just taking a bunch of people and rushing through the process. Figure out what kind of shape you really want. Ask if their lines will be precise!
