Microblading/Microshading NJ Disaster

ORIGINAL POST

Microblading/Microshading

$900
My journey began about 16 years ago. I had a permanent makeup on my eyebrows. Due to over plucking as a teenager I have hardly any eyebrows. I was satisfied until years later they faded so much and I started researching microblading. I did so much research! It is my face! I chose to go with a Highly rated salon here in New Jersey. (Livingston NJ) Beauty Bar By Camila Mello. I chose to consult with Dana one of the artists. I felt confident so I booked my first treatment in September 2017. After my first session I was so unhappy so I contacted Camila the owner. I met with her and she said I was Not Trusting the Process or Artist! So against my gut feeling and better judgment I continued with my second appointment about 5 weeks later. And that is when the majority of the damage was done. One eyebrow was a lot higher I have pigment pounded in certain areas and none in others also they are dark! And hardly any microblading! What a big mess! Again I called the owner and met with her and she said Nothing was wrong with them! So I was in a no win situation. So on my last appointment (3rd) I told The artist Dana again I was very unhappy and she then added a few lines one one eyebrow to match the other then I left! Since then I have had consultations with other microblading artists and a plastic Surgeon and a Dermatologist. To see what my options for fixing them or removal. The recommendations ultimately were to remove them by Picoway laser. So anyone who is looking to get this done please go with your gut!

is the picture from April 2018? I can tell you that mine have faded significantly over 8 months but I'm not happy with the shape and color. I have had one saline removal done on the left eyebrow and 2 done on the right. I'm going in next week to have another saline removal on the right side, because I can cover it with the bangs. As soon as the scab falls off, I will have the right side done so I can cover with bangs. it's been a nightmare. I had it done in Milwaukee, wi at Levics salon. horrible horrible horrible experience for me.
these photos are from October 2017-February 2018 I will post some recent ones this week and no they have not faded much
I will also post my photo of the post saline removal in left eyebrow in February 2018 from a different artist. but unfortunately the pigment was pounded so badly Laser is my option. and it is so expensive I’m disgusted! what a disaster
I have learned with laser you may experience scarring, so you are stuck with the shape. I agree with Art girl: get your money back and the money to fix them; however, it is easy to go this route if you do not post emotionally driven bad reviews: stick to the facts and she will likely pay you back through her insurance. She will never admit wrong doing, so don't hold your breath on that one.
Yelp that salon a poor recommendation.
Take her to small claims court, file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the local Chamber of Commerce. Yelp a negative review!!! Good luck...
I have spoken to an attorney. because told the owner that I deserve compensation and she said that my eyebrows are fine nothing is wrong with them. well now since they clearly were not measured correctly my old tattoo is showing at the ends my tattoo is showing higher than the pigment! Also they are not fading much. it is going to cost a couple grand to fix this mess! I’m going to write on everything social media and yelp! thank you for the encouragement:)
Take her to small claims court for money to fix them. She has insurance for such things.
