Microbladed brows feeling botched

Microbladed Brows Feeling Botched

So I got my brows microbladed yesterday and I am feeling like i belong on the show Botched. My eyebrows are dark and HUGE, and one brow looks bigger and farther up than the other one. My artist says this is normal, but looking at the after photos of others, I am freaking out. Has anyone else experienced this and did your brows shrink and become more symmetrical ?

I could of said the same about mine, at first but I think you will be fine. I think I personally might actually go a little thicker next time just at the front of my eyebrows, so don’t worry.. have faith!

Did yours end up working out for you?

Always Amber, check out my review. I have posted pictires from the last week. They do thin out but I can see where one eyebrow is a little higher than the other on your pictires. I don’t know who your technician is but if she doesn’t see it’s a problem then that is a problem right there. My advice is to go to someone else and google the most reputable and experienced person you can find in your area.

I just checked out your review. Your brows look great! I need to post an updated picture of my brows from a different angle, because they don’t look as uneven from higher up. They have gotten much thinner and are looking much more natural. I want to send a picture to my artist at 4 weeks post to see what she thinks about the unevenness. Thank you so much for your feedback and positivity during this process!

48 Hours After Microblade

always.amber
48 Hours After Microblade. One eyebrow is still higher and thicker than the other brow, but it isn’t as bad as it was yesterday. Continuing to hope that they will level out and that they will shrink as they are still very thick and very overpowering on my face. I have had such bad anxiety since getting these brows done. I want my old brows back. ):

Brows still mismatched

always.amber
Well it’s been a full 72 hours since i had my brows done and one brow is still higher and thicker than the other. I think the swelling at the point should be gone so I’m not counting on the brows becoming even ): hoping that when it comes to time for the touch up that they can evened out, but I’m honestly afraid to even go back for the touch up.

I had mine done recently and am going through the same thing. This is a normal process. When you go for your touch up, tell them your issues about one eyebrow higher than the other. It could be from swelling as well. I have the exact same issue when you look at it closely. I read that eye brows are meant to be asymmetrical. They are not twins more like sisters but I understand what you’re going through. It’s a process and while we may want to cry, by day 10 it should lighten up and hopefully even out. I will get mine fixed at 6 week touch up.

Thank you for the reassurance! They are looking better day by day, and I am hoping that the retouch will even them out more. I hope that you love your brows after your touch up!

That’s great to hear! I’m on day two and just reading your experience here has calmed me down. I also have to reassure myself that patience is key here. I’m sure they will continue to get better and by there time your touch up appt rolls around will look good and even better at touch up.

Omg!! I just had mine done yesterday and mine look just like yours... one is up higher than the other and the one eyebrow at the middle , one is angled and one is more straight... I too have anxiety because I’m a perfectionist when it come to being even on my face... that’s why I wanted them because I was drawing them one uneven,,, now u feel I have them permenantly uneven...

Same girl! I’m also a perfectionist and was hoping microblading would make my brows perfect and now they are worse than they were before ):

Guys I’m following along this journey too, i got mine done today.. they are SO dark and bold and look so strange on my face! They are pretty even, I think my artist did a good job, I just wish she had suggested brows a little thinner since I didn’t know what to ask for! I’ve been thinking about purposely getting them wet to tone them down, but I don’t want to make it worse..

Don’t worry the color will go down. I’m on day 3 and posted some pictures on a review I posted. The color will normalize. I already see a big difference. It’s weird at first but you will get used to it. At your touch up just mention your concerns about one arch being higher. I read on other reviews, that after the touch is when the brows will truly be at their best. It’s a process we have to trust.

What day are you on? I’m on day 6 and mine are still too thick ): they have gotten much lighter though which is good! I’m glad to hear that yours are even. I’m so scared that retouching mine to make them even will result in them becoming even more thick, which I do not want at all.
