Demapen micro needling for minor to medium acne scar . Home experience
This website community helped me a lot with reviews they posted. So i decided to share my review to hopefully help someone.
I decided to do Dermapen at home after reading tonsof article here and in other websites.
I bough a dermapen online for 40 usd + shipment 30 ( by DHL)
Before that I started using bio oil and it works very well with my skin . I used for about 3 weeks before the dermpen. Since my skins reacted well to it. I decide that it is the only product I will use.
My scar are mixed of minor and medium scar of different types only on the cheeks and only few minor ones on the forehead.
The dermapen came with 12 needles heads . very small well shaped needles. lol
I bought some number cream EMLA i guess 5 percent, and some vitamins ( I am not good with medicines, so i just asked the pharmacist for some good vitamins for skins, so he game me some antioxidant vitamins from Nature'plus)
So washed my face and put numbing cream for a good 40mins. then i wash my face again . I adjust he dermapen to 1.25 and did it only on the cheeks. No pain at all. No blood at all. I pulled/stretched my skin a bit when i was needling as I read it is good.
Then i did my forehead only in the areas where some scars are.
Once I was done the skin was sooo red like 3 times the color of sun burn. i waited for like 10 mins or 20 and I applied bio oil. A lot of it. I mean A lot, al of my face not only the treated area. and then after 4 hours I applied it again. and then later i woke at night and I applied again. The morning I did apply again. i was worried about breakouts or clogging my skins. But nothing happened.
Ah, before I slept i took those vitamins and drank a lot of water.
The second day the skin was not as read. I could say , the skins looks better. I did the same thing, apply oil and take Vit pills and drank a lot water.
Thirst day , I could say I start seeing some difference. it is like the skin is reacting better texture and iam not sure by some scar faded a bit like 30 percent. I will wait a wee before i can judge.
I ll post before and pics soon.
i did apply lot of oil cuz it is a personal beleive that I should not let my skin feel tight after procedure as it means it is lacking moisture. my Bio oil helps alot. but it deosn't mean it is good for every skin. Some other skins will react better to other moisturizers. So best to use the products you skin reacts better to.
