How it works
  • Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
  • This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
  • Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
  • Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

Pre-microblading brows

This is me before microblading, with almost no visible eyebrows. I've never had noticeable eyebrows, and I didn't pluck much as a teenager, but as I've aged (I'm 67) they've become more and more sparse, tapering away altogether after the arch. For years I just ignored them, thinking mascara and eyeshadow were adequate, but looking at photos as I've grown older, I began to believe I would look better overall with some eyebrows. I experimented with various pencils and liked the results, but noticed my efforts generally wore off by late afternoon, so I began to look for more permanent options and read about microblading. I read a lot of reviews before choosing a practitioner. I got lucky and found someone who is very near where I live, but the patient before me had driven all the way from Louisiana.

1 month after final touch up

3 month update

On June 1, 2017, I went in for a final touch up. The pic below was taken in July 2017, in Colorado. Other than lipstick and eyelash extensions, I'm wearing no makeup. I love my microbladed eyebrows. If you're thinking of having this done, the most important thing is to find a technician who has a good eye, which means you must see at the very least dozens of photos of his or her work. And remember that at first you'll look like Bette Davis at the beginning of Now Voyager, but don't be alarmed, because the dye will fade. This was expensive, but worth every penny to me.
