One step closer

So today I put in for my vacation time at work, two weeks. My date is the day before good Friday and the kids have the next week out of school, so I don't have to worry about how they would get to school, my husband starts work at 6am!! That weekend works out great because my husband will be home with me Thursday to Tuesday. Going to start buying things for post surgery: compression socks, extra pillows, and anything else I can think of. I also started working out consistently and eating better, I have loss 3 pounds in a week and a half. Took myself down to a 1200 calorie diet and incorporated double the protein!!

Excited for you, I remember being where you are and anticipating your transformation can get a bit overwhelming, I thought about it everyday. Just want to say good luck, you are in good hands. Just know that as most people put, the first three days are the worst and after the first week, you'll figure out how to adjust. Healing can seem to take forever, but you are mobile after 2-3 weeks and it just get's better. Expect lower back pain like never before, will go away the more you walk everyday. Also, the best advise someone gave me on this site to lose weight was the Atkins diet. Hands down, it's the best way to lose 10lbs in two weeks and keep going after that and it's not so restrictive.
Feel free to inbox me with any questions.
I'm 3 weeks post surgery. I went in at 195. I love my new tummy. You will do just fine.

I am 205pds only 5'4. My doctor said if I was four pounds heavier I would have to have the surgery in the hospital :-(. My goal is to lose as much as I can in two months! My first consultation with my doctor was in 2008. My stomach has always been round but now I have a lot of extra skin. This is my highest weigh. I am becoming very excited about my surgery and watching what I am eating. I found this page from someone on YouTube and I am so grateful!! I have been glued to the site for a week. I plan to share my journey and I pray that my results are amazing!! I hope someone else shares my date!! Here's to the count down ????????
