Another overdue update

Hey, so I've determined that I'm just not able to keep up with monthly updates as intended but nothing has really changed much since previous posts. I'm coming up on 6 months in June and admit I still tape (for clarification purposes: this is for comfort only- I hate the feeling of a swollen blob in the morning and tape prevents that). I really have nothing else to really update on unless people have specific questions, which I'll be happy to answer either here or through messages. I added a few more recent pics but, that's I've got for now lol ... best wishes :)

Hey guys.. so I'm a bit behind with this update but I didn't want the month to pass without me adding one. I saw Dr. Zuliani in January for my 2nd post op. He explained that the 'swelling' Im seeing now is scar tissue formation which started around wk 3 and lasts until my nose finishes healing ( about a year). He didn't offer steroids to reduce it and I didn't ask for it.. the scar tissue wasn't bothering me. I do still tape at night, it just feels less sore in the morning when I do. As far as how I'm feeling about it, overall, pretty good. I'll go into detail on that more in my next post ... or sooner if people are really interested in it. ..

As for these progress pictures I have no makeup on at all lol.. no concealer, foundation .. I didn't even fill in my brows y'all lol haha but I wanted you all to see my bare face/ nose. Still a work in progress...

Dr. Zuliani is absolutely AMAZING! he is a true artist and I am so happy I found my way to his practice! Rhinoplasty is a very difficult procedure and the challenges are often heightened for ethnic, or more specifically in my case African American, patients. He knew exactly what to do and was open and honest about what could be achieved from day 1. I knew I was in excellent hands! He prepped me on what to expect at each step and was spot on. To say i'm happy with my results would be an understatement. I don't know if surgeons truly understand how much joy their work is capable of bringing to a patient's life, but I am so thankful! -Smooth relatively painless process, no regrets at all, i'd do it all again in a heartbeat.
