I am going to be as logical and factual as possible while writing this review. I find that when I read bad reviews and the person seems overly emotional, I take them less seriously because I want to see a scope of the entire situation, not just a review when the person was temporarily in a bad mood. I hope my review can genuinely help others in their decision making. I went to Dr. Perry in April of 2016, this was a birthday gift from my fiancé. I had been wanting to have this surgery for some time, and thought I found the right Dr. Before my surgery, Dr. Perry was attentive, easy to reach, knowledgeable, and seemed to really care about his patients. I was also checking out Dr. Ortega, Dr. Miami, and Dr. J Curves around that time period. I decided to go with Dr. Perry because as this was my first surgery, I was scared to choose a Dr. that was too inexperienced, which I felt Dr. Ortega was. Dr. J Curves would have been ideal, but wanted me to get a mini tummy tuck, which I haven’t had kids, so I didn’t think I should need one. Dr. Miami was only $7745 at this time, $2000 cheaper than what Perry was charging, but this was around the time he had gotten very popular, and I wasn’t willing to wait almost two years for a surgery. Dr. Perry charged me $9600. Although Dr. Perry was on the high end as far as price compared to many of the other doctors in Miami, I wanted this to be a one-time surgery, and I felt like I would go to the higher end to make sure that it was done right the first time. I didn’t want to be cheap and pick a doctor that I would have to spend that amount doing two surgeries. If I knew then what I knew now, I would have made a different decision seeing that Dr. Perry did a shoddy cheap job on my body anyways. These are the promises that Dr. Perry made me: 1. You will have a small waist and flat stomach after surgery, you don’t need a tummy tuck, your skin will contract. 2. (After showing him wish pics of Deelishis and similar models) he said that he can definitely get me the projection that I am looking for. After my surgery, I noticed that my buttocks wasn’t no where near as round or as big as we had discussed before the surgery. I asked him how much fat did he transfer. I was shocked when he told me he only transferred 2700cc this was for both hips and buttocks. I read reviews from other doctors who were transferring up to 3500cc, and they were no where as pricey as Dr. Perry. I asked him why he transferred so little, he told me that I didn’t have enough fat to transfer that much. You see, Dr. Perry is a smooth talker he knew exactly what flattering thing to say. I figured that after I healed, the flat stomach and back would make me forget that my butt wasn’t as round as I wanted. Dr. Perry pushed me to make my review before I was healed, and I’m glad that I held off on it until I could see my final results. Before writing a negative review, I wanted to see if I could reach out to him and resolve this out of the public. I reached out to Dr. Perry to ask him exactly how many liters of fat he removed and exactly how much was transferred to each hip and buttocks in May of 2016, one month after my surgery, but he never contacted me back. When you first get the surgery, you will be swollen all over, everyone knows that. I figured that surely my still protruding stomach and back fat would go away after I healed, but it never did. My butt was already small after surgery then got much smaller. My stomach is noticeably more fat on the left than the right side, so that means the lipo was uneven. I first contacted Dr. Perry’s office about a revision in August of 2016. His secretary assured me that work was really slow for him around that time and he would be able to get right back to me. He never contacted me back. This means two times that I have reached out and got no response. This was much different than how he portrayed to be before the surgery. I figured that maybe I was still healing, so I would give it more time before I make a big fuss. I tried my best to be happy with my results, bought shapers to give me the results that I spend almost $10,000 for. With the shapers, I felt much better, but feel like I shouldn’t have to wear them after having this surgery. I decided to reach out to Dr. Perry again about a revision at the beginning of this year January 2018. I decided, that this time, I would be more proactive and call often, since he never got back to me in 2016. It took a couple of weeks to get an answer, and I know that if I hadn’t have called so often, I would have never heard back. Initially, Dr. Perry responded to my email about a revision as if I was a new patient. I have included the pics of the email. You see, the results were so shoddy even he can't tell that I had work done. I called and informed the office of Dr. Perry's misunderstanding. Dr. Perry’s secretary told me they don’t do revision prices, he can’t do better than $1000 off another surgery. I paid 9600 for my surgery, that means he wants me to pay $9500 for a revision surgery he promised me he could do right the first time, and failed to deliver on his promises. I would pay this price for another Dr. before I pay it again to Dr. Perry.
