I'm scheduled with Dr Careaga for Feb 13th did my research and after talking to him several times chose him for a Mommy makeover. I haven't met him in person yet but like I said I've spoken to him and Andrea and they have both been fabulous in making me feel comfortable. I've been doing my search for the past 7 years and I was impressed that he was the only doctor to say that even though I was 38 he wanted me to get a mammogram so I have a comparison when I start getting regular mammograms. He also was the only doctor after reviewing my medical history suggested I also get an echo being so thorough like that impressed me especially since I work in the medical field. I can't wait to see how it goes for you good luck and keep us posted!

Scared

Tomorrow is my big day. Scared. I have a fear of not waking up. Then I'm afraid of the pain. Have been trying to eat right and no drinking. Got my recliner in with netflix movies ready for viewing and a selection of books to read. I hope it's all tolerable and I live to see another day ;)

Hope your surgent is going well!! I read on someone else's blog that it's a good idea to set an alarm for every 4 hours to take pain meds. She woke up in so much pain from her meds wearing off in her sleep. I will definitely be setting an alarm!

Mine is tomorrow as well and I've been freaking out all day too! I look forward to your updates and just know that someone is in that same boat as you. Even as I type this my heart is just fluttering. My surgery is at 12pm. I have to be there at 11am. It's an 1hr 45 minute drive so I have about an hour window to sit and panic after I drop the kids off for school before I have to leave for surgery. I'm not sure how I will keep myself preoccupied during that hour. What time is your surgery scheduled for?

Good luck to you. I have to be there at 730. We'll compare experiences tomorrow i'm sure.

This morning I goy done. Wasn't as bad as expected.been on recliner all day and making sure I keep up with Meds. Felling abut of discomfort now, and hope to sleep through the night. Getting up each time to pee is bit of a challenge and amusing a walker. Ona scale from 1 to 10. My pain is about a 7. Going to post op appointment. Btw, it's odd but I have virtually no discomfort with breasts. It's all in the mid section. Will report back tomorrow.

I didn't have breast pain either I also found that wierd. But I guess no pain is better than pain because tummy and back hurt!
