I Hate my Results

Dr Dowback put too much fat in the lower cheeks and now my butt looks deformed and elongated. The view from the side looks like I am wearing butt pads. I regret doing sx with her and I hope that working out will rectify the problem

You should of stated many times to the medical staff that you are a youtuber and that your results would be advertised on your channel. I notice plastic surgeons are more attentive to people who have a platform and broadcast their experiences.

Amazing Doctor Horrible Experience

Dr Dowback is amazing but unfortunately I cannot rate her 5 stars because her staff are horrible. To receive surgery with her you have to go through them and they do nothing but stress you out and inconvenience you financially. Her coordinator Yuli is unprofessional, unpleasant and lacks good communication skills. Getting surgery with the doctor is not guaranteed because they are going to find a way to cancel you surgery by saying you tested positive for something you never took or you are going to spend more money than you planned to because Yuli switched the surgery date, therefore you have to pay to extend your plane ticket and recovery stay. Dr Dowback needs to work somewhere else or open her own private practice because it is not worth the headache to do surgery with her and endure the added stress that the staff brings.

Yes i agree i really want to go with Dr Dowback but she takes forever to reach back out to people making me nervous about getting my procedure done with her SMH .....Are you still going with dowback?
I read this review with a grain of salt. I understand the unorganized office, and I've had my moments with the coordinators.

But please don't let that stop you from entering the contract with the Dr. There are several legal action you as consumer can take if you believe you are being scammed online. Main thing is to be careful how we pay the company. I never sent cash, I pay on my card so I can always pay my bank to stop payment or dispute a charge. Also, you can follow the contract and request a refund for any services not rendered within the timeframe.
Also, if there is something about a failed lab test or something else, you can always contact a lawyer to launch an investigation and issue an "intent to sue" -- however, malpractice cases re: cosmetic surgery are notorious and difficult to prove. You have to keep all records, documents you singed, get letters from other unhappy patients etc. And accept that even if you don't completely finish the lawsuit, you can gather enough evidence to present to local law enforcement agencies and the FTC, DEPT of Consumer Affairs, BBB and the state attorney general. If you really want this procedure and you spend $$$$ to pay it off, you should have another $$$$ to fund a legal office for the necessary documents to build up a credible complaint for local authorities.

With that being said I don't expect any problem from the clinic or doctor here. But if there is an issue I'm well researched and prepared to take action within 90 days of my date.
Hopefully you also have multiple labs in your possession. My Dr tests my blood often, I'm transgender and any lab irregularities would be notice by my primary care before new life runs any tests. And so this is just some thoughts on how to be prepared for everything because I too have been nervous about the office there.

Sorry but everything u said is still way to much to have to go though calling lawyers and banks that takes a lot of time I had surgery as well and it was stressful to begin with no one wants added stress your doctor and staff should never put u through all of that it’s unnecessary u should be confident with your choice not bothered and inconvenience sounds to me like u got payed to comment
Haha! No sweetheart I did NOT get paid to comment, however I will admit that I was tipsy when I wrote this. Look, Dr dowbak IS AMAZING!! The staff should not discourage anyone from going through the process. I regret my previous contents, but unbeknownst to me, realself does not have a "delete" button. I would never tell anyone to call lawyers or anything today. When I was considering going and making payments, it was hard to be confident in my choice like you said because the office coordinators do not stay in contact with you, but you just have to deal with it. In the end, I lost my temper and they cancelled my procedure. Word to the wise: do not be like me, just be understanding that this is a great world class Dr that is providing great care at affordable rates. If I could do it again I would strive to be more patient with those girls. Sorry I even wrote all of that from earlier. I know how you feel, but I believe dowbak is worth any slight inconvenience.

But who wants to go through all that when they pay their money to get a procedure, its not like these procedures are free, if staff members do not know how to treat people then they shoudlnt be working there. Who wants to be weak and tired coming out of surgery only to get the run around and talked to badly as if this is some free government assistances gig or something. No one wants to have a bad experience having thousands of dollars for lawyers missing work going back and forth with staff etc.

I had surgery there 11 June and I totally agree! Her staff sucks! Do not get me started on them. Pre-op was five and a half hours long just to sign paperwork, really! I spent 5 hours waiting and half an hour signing paperwork. I was told to be there Monday morning at 9AM for surgery and I was not called back until 430PM. SMDH. I could go and on but I would rather peel paint than type my complaints about New Life. Dr. Dowbak needs to leave there ASAP
I agree ONE THOUSAND PERCENT! I went thru HELL with her staff you hear me HELL!!!!! My experience was absolutely HORRIBLE I would never recommend anyone to go to New Life, & the sad part is Dr. Dowbak is actually great doctor. But when you are dealing with such a serious procedure, the last thing you want to deal with is an unprofessional ass staff! My story is very long so I won’t post what I went thru with them in the comment section but for anyone who is reading please please save yourselves the headache & money & choose another facility!
