The bottom lip was OK but my upper one was pretty non-existent and although I wouldn't have cosmetic surgery, I thought having some fillers injected into my lips aren't such a big deal. My biggest worries were 1. feeling the filler accumulated into the lips 2. the effect wearing off way too soon. I can't talk much about the second as it's only been 3 weeks since the procedure but I can say that other than the numbness and soreness I felt immediately after, I didn't experience much discomfort at all. Luckily for me, the result looks natural and assymmetrical, although at first my lips were huge and I was so grateful I did it whilst on vacation, didn't want anyone stare at my lips or anything :P

Hey I am planning on getting mine done tomorrow with him during my lunch break at work. Is the numbness and soreness so bad that you have mumble your words when speaking? Do you think its okay for me to go back to work immediately after or should I just take the rest of the day off? How long did the plumpness last on your lips?
Thanks for sharing your experience on RealSelf! Did you have much bruising? I remember mine didn't kick in for a couple hours so I didn't ice or anything, and then suddenly, bam! A bunch of bruising.
We'd love to see photos of your lip transformation!
