I took 600 mg. Ibuprofen 1 hour before, another 600 mg. when I got there, along with 1 mg. of Xanax (I am not a regular user) as well as a swig of Nyquil! (it was all I had!) This procedure was so painful I could not believe it. It took about an hour and a half, non stop. By the end I was a sobbing, drained mess. I have had IPL which was a cake walk compared to this. In my opinion, this should not be considered without dental blocks or pain management other than "happy pills". I am bruised and swollen along the jawline pretty badly. Definitely need concealer to go in public. I expected that, I am fair and bruise easily. I have never written a review about anything I have had done, but this needs to be said. Many women seem to say it wasn't too bad. I can't think it possible unless they were better medicated. I would not do this again under the same circumstances, no matter how great I look in 3 months.

The spa was wonderful. Techs were fantastic. It was the procedure that was a problem.
