Don’t do It !

$6,500
If I could go back and undo the procedure I would … all lubrication is gone and it is part of the surgery to no longer get naturally lubricated though bartholin glands . You must rely on Lube . It sucks . I just wanted to be normal again , and yes it’s tight but have to apply lube throughout intercourse . It’s just not worth it for me.

One of the reasons why I chose Dr. Miklos is his experience, knowledge and his staff !! From the time you make your consultation to scheduling your surgery and pre-op appt was seamless , everyone is organized , knows their duties and doesn’t pass you around . His nurse is amazing too ! I’ve gone to consultations with other surgeons and I when I tried call or email to follow up with questions , I was either told they’ll call me back or had to leave a message. Not with this staff , there is always someone there to answer your questions whether it’s by phone or e-mail. It’s great to know that someone is always available. Staff and nurses are amazing. Follow up : I tried following up regarding on going concerns with the perineoplasty portion of the procedure , no compassion what’s so ever , god forbid you tell Miklos you are having an issue due to the surgery . I called and even had a consult as to what can be done to correct the issue and haven’t heard back . Clearly there is no concern to try and fix the problem . Now I am seeking out another surgeon for a minor fix . Very disappointed .

Hi. Thank you for sharing your experience. If dryness is a problem I read that prp injections can really help with that. Look into it. I hope it helps you.
Thank you , I have tried that as well , unfortunately during repair of the perineum the doctor also removed bartholin glands which drastically removed all lubrication and there is no way to reverse it . If I could go back I wouldn’t have done the procedure . The dr I used doesn’t take that into consideration and doesn’t think bartholin glass are important

7 weeks post op !

So I went to my 6 weeks post op last week and my doc cleared me to “attempt” intercourse. Because of all the reviews I saw if women being too tight or not being successful I decided to try it my self with dilators 1st so I could know what to expect before I tell my BF I was cleared. So for 3 days I did 2 different sizes one average sized which was the most comfortable & . Holy smokes I could immediately tell that Yes , it was very very tight but I used lotsa lube to make sure it would go in smooth, day 2 I used the same average size and day 3 I tried the largest size but couldn’t get that one all the way in. My BF is large so I wanted to see what the worse case scenario might be. In Short , we finally tried last night and were successful and it - was - great !! Definantly use lube the 1st time ! He also felt a huge difference . I’m glad I tried it my self 1st so I could know what to expect and to maybe help loosen up just a tad ? Oh and a few cocktails helped too :)

Do you have any updates to share as to how you are doing now?
Mynewself04 - you were concerned about bumps from the stitches. I also noticed those in lots of immediate post op photos. Did those go away?

6 Weeks Post Op

I have no pain but still have swelling and sutures that are still in the dissolving stages . I looks forward to everything being back to “normal” again. I will be slowly starting to work out again . I have not attempted intercourse as of yet and I am in no hurry . I hope to be able to hold off another 2-3 weeks before attempting . My plan is to try a dilater 1st in order to get an idea of what I can tolerate . Will update again in a couple weeks on intercourse .
